Some Remote Start Questions.

Well first off I did a search on here and didn't come up with much. I am pretty lazy and winter is upon us. My car sits outside in the driveway since I don't have a garage, and I hate driving to school ever morning in a cold car. So a remote start system would fix that. My first question is what is a good quality system that will work all time and not cost me an arm and a leg, I don't need anything fancy. Also how hard are they to install on my e30? Any personal bad experiences with remote start and your e30's?

If your car is a 5 speed, you should look for one that is 5 speed safe so if you try to auto start it and it's in gear, it doesnt lunge forward and hit things. When I worked at a car audio place a guy did that and his raised 4-runner went through his garage door. lol

yea I read some old thread on here where some guys bimmer did that when a valet parked his car.
