    Keyless Entry...

Anyone who has anything, or knows about them, what should I get?

I really only want the keyless entry since I am going to be shaving my door locks (not the trunk though just in case something goes wrong). Something with an alarm would be OK, as long as it is not to much.

    Thanks!

Since you already have power doorlocks, just get an alarm from a car stereo place that has the option for keyless entry. Or you can buy just a keyless entry system for less than $100. Either way go to a car audio shop and they should have some (or at least the ones around here do).

or pick up the factory alarm, and use that as keyless entry as its not really good for anything else :)

i installed a keyless in entry in my '85 and i am very pleased with it. it cost $90 bucks and they are made by AUTOLOC you can buy them at: www.bmpd.com, or www.autoloc.com. it has trunk pop and flashing lights output. its a very good deal and it lasts a long time. anyways i hope my advise helped. :D

Shaved door locks look so clean, but tell me: do you have to respray your entire door or do they just use a small amount of body filler and minor spray? Is there any special precautions you have to take when doing the shave?

I will be repsraying the car anyways that is why I plan on doing this. I doubt it would look right without a full respray, it is hard to match a panel to rest of car without some $$$

Are door poppers and keyless entry the same thing? I thought keyless entry just unlocks the doors, i have that on my tahoe. Just wondering

door poppers are actuators that folks who shave door handles use to open the door, they 'pop' the door open, hence the name. So yes, they are different from keyless entry.

They aren't called by both names. He is shaving his door locks, not his door handles. He won't be able to unlock his doors with his key, so he needs keyless entry.
