I got it to power on fine, seems to work okay except i cannot get sound.
It had a pioneer head unit in previously, it was wired to the factory fader switch (in the dash) and the front speakers were wired seperately from factory. I reattached the factory fader, happened to have the plug burried in the dash and had two wires left over, i tried just loosely putting the stripped wire in the head unit and no sound anywhere (didn't have factory plug). Factory amp was unhooked and laying in the trunk, no signs of splicing, not sure how the rear speakers worked, but i can't find splicing anywhere.
Perhaps my factory amp isn't turning on? I don't know how to check it, i have two white wires coming out of my tape deck from the antenna output, perhaps one is for the amp, if not, where should i look for the amp output?
How would the rear speakers work with the factory amp unhooked without any splicing done? Looks like factory wires going into the speakers and CD player was again wired to the factory fader wires.
I want to hear my sweet ass tapes!
Any help is appreciated.
