Under seat subwoofers?

Why can't you cut the floor out just inside the 4 bolts that keep the seats in. Then make the box closer to the ground and then have the woofer flush with the floor of the car...solved.

I wish this was an option for me. But if I were to build boxes to weld to the floor to the floor of the car, it would eliminate any ground clearance that I had left. I only have two inches of extra space between the floor of the car and the ground. (Frame rail is about 2.7" off the ground
