REALLY COOL check this out if you have a sub!!!!!!!!

anybody interested in increasing the sound quality and volume of your sub? i found this out the other day while experimenting around with my trunk.
i found out that you can punch out the ski holder, (precut on all e30, even my 85' 318i) with a hammer and flathead screwdriver. all you have to do is take of the cardboard behind the rea seat, and then remove the rear seat and in the middle of the rear seat there is a cutout for a "ski holder" which is only used on some e30's. anyways you punch this out (and only this, dont cut any more holes than you have to unlees you want to seriously mess up your car)and then install the rear seat, and the cardboard (i left mine out) And your bass will be !) times louder. it really bitchen. just thought you bass heads might mant a "little" more. try it.

Looks cooler. Ive had it positioned both ways. All sounds the same to me. But I think im going deaf. :D

I lost high frequencies though. :( I need an amp for my cabin speakers too.
