    bump. what causes this switch to fail? I assume thats why the interior light delay function does not work on most cars.

    My gong is connected to the headlights to warn me if i left them on.

    on the driver side there are 2 wires to the pin switch, one goes to the light one goes to the gong. brown/purple is for the light, the other one is for the gong leave it off unless you like the sound

    If so where does the brown/green wire go to then ? the door handle?

    Its not in the door handle. Its just the door pin that signals the delay module when a door is opened. That pin is located in the door jam on the chassis.

    Hello everyone.

    Im looking for a picture of the electrical contacts on the inside of the drivers door handle which controls the interior light delay.

    Can anyone help?
