    XM head unit?

My tape player gave up the other day so I can no longer listen to my xm radio through the tape adapter. So i figure now is the time to suck it up and buy a new head unit.

Heres the deal, I have an xm receiver in the car right now but there are a lot of wires running about even though i tried cleaning it up by routing some of the wires under the console. Id like to get rid of the xm radio alltogether but im not sure if all the head units ive seen that state "xm ready" require a separate tuner anyways.

If id need to get a separate tuner, i think id almost rather keep my xm receiver i have in the car and buy a head unit with an aux input instead of a head unit that is xm ready.

Also id really like the head unit to have red backlighting to match the dash but it seems like the sony xplods are the only head units to have this. Im all about keeping my dash area as clean as possible so im looking for that perfect head unit.

Any suggestions would be appreciated but I must add that im on a wicked tight budget so cost is a big factor.

if you want to use the xm thats in the car already, you need a deck that is xm ready to use it. these days id be surprised if you cant find a deck with a aux and is xm ready.
