    Sweet iPod Mounts?

Who here has an iPod mount that looks good and isn't in the glovebox? I am getting a new headunit and I want a sweet OEM-looking place to put it and want to see some of your setups. This isn't a "CD's are soo much better" or "iPods suck" thread.

I don't know how stable that docking thing is because I don't have an iPod, but I've had the idea of sticking that in the space in front of the ash tray. Simply find a way to secure the docking station to keep it from sliding around, and you can run the wires up into the dash to your HU without much hassle.

I put mine in My cup holder. Works perfect.

I have one of these (From bmwcupholder.com):

I have the ultra oldschool ipod with no dock...so that sucks for me. Only headphone and firewire..

Someone should modify the OBC and panel. You'd have to take the OBC out and replace with the mechanics of a tape player from back in the day. So you hit a button it pops forward and the docking station is connected at the bottom. You put the Ipod in and lock the deck and it doesn't even look like you have one.

Yea, I want to find a nice plug instead of the cig lighter, since no one is going to ever smoke in my car..
