Use stock parts. Find someone parting a car and buy the stuff used. Tell them you are retro-fitting the battery in the trunk, so you want the battery tray (I have one avaiable) and cable, trunk plastic sheild, and the plastic mounting block that attaches to the fire wall.

You will probably also want the rear battery tie down.

Also, what car is this going into? When I did the swap onto my cabby, the diffence in the path the cable has to take was enough to make it so that the cable just barely wouldn't make it (less than an inch), so I had to redo the entire swap. I made it work by drilling 1 new hole for the mounting block to the left of the pre-drilled left mounting hole, moving the entire mounting block over by ~2 inches. So I would definately work from the trunk forward instead of the other way around like I did. Also remember to sand down your grounding point, otherwise you won't have a good connection and you'll be very confused.

My friend did a battery relocation with zero gauge wire in his 240sx...but I am pretty sure you don't need that kind burly of wire...
