Passanger side or drivers side? I'm guessing drivers side to keep away from the power cable? Or does it matter?

What side to run wires?

theres a bulk load of wires running down both sides. down the middle works if you're content with being able to feel wire through the carpet in the back. as for me, i figure theres so much wire behind the dash that will come in contact with the speaker wires anyway. i just ran mine down the sides to make it clean.

You don't want wires (speaker or RCA) running in paralell with ANY power wires. Things like fuel pump or anything else that is hot in start & run you want to stay away from. You can run your remote switch (blue) with power along the driver's side but what you should do is keep your RCA and front speaker wires totally isolated. To simplify things even more keep your front crossovers under the dash so you have your RCAs going to the back and one each (L&R) for front speakers going forward. This will mean you have a max of five (5) wires down the middle or pass side depending on the car.
Your remote turn on (blue) can go with RCA & speaker but I like to seperate that because it's power - although it's usually isolated.
If you run speaker or RCA's in paralell with the big battery wire or fuel pump you will probably get hissing or buzzing (engine noise) in the system no matter how hard you try.
