i just bought a german full check panel.
since i have a '91 318is, the harness that hooked up to the original check panel obviously doesn't connect with the new one.
i realize that all of the lights on the new one will not work, since i don't have the wiring; but i do have 4 wires that ran into the old check panel (guessing for seatbelt light and SRS light). can i simply splice a 'full check panel' harness into the 4 wires that i have to make it somewhat functional?
does all this make sense?
