hey guys whats up
i have recently been installing a simple alarm. i have so far hooked up 2 harnesses but after hooking up the signal out put harness (parking light blinks, trunk popper,etc...).
well now when i turn the car to on or start it the rpm guage goes straight to 1 and doesnt move. anyone know why?

oh yeah i could deal without hearing "why are you installing your own alarm?"
i have my reasons so dont give me any crap

i think there is no better way than installing an alarm yourself, personally i would never let anybody touch my car. most people do cheap work, when i install it i know its a profesional job.
anyways....about your RPM gauge. you might want to check behind your gauge console. you might have bumped or pulled on some wires. if they all look ok then i would then check the fuses, you might have accidently shorted something out. if those are ok then i dont know what to tell ya, sorry.

alright fellas i got an update
this mornin when i went to school after a second or two of drivin the tach kicked in again and after school almost everything else that was wrong fixed itsself BUT when you turn the foglights on everything kinda changes (tach reading gets lower and inaccurate and mpg meter kinda stops) also i think i mighta blown my coolant temp guage
