So this is blowing my mind. Battery is in the stock location in the trunk with stock wiring. Even if I have my head unit off, face place removed, and EVEN IF I TURN OFF THE CIRCUIT BREAKER TO MY AMPLIFIERS I get something that _sounds_ like alternator whine. But I fail to understand how it could be, if there's no amplification to pick it u?? Is it possible to be inducing the signal directly into the speaker(s) via the OEM power wires?
Ideas? Help? It's really pissing me off... searching for "Whine" really didn't come up with much solution wise (or related to my issue).
Setup as follows:
Audison VRx2.250 for fronts (currently Focal PolyKevlar, switching to Hertz Mille's as soon as I sort this issue, no sense in "wasting" good speakers if I cant sort this).
Audison VRx1.500 mono for JL 12w6 (yeah yeah, JL's overpriced and way too power hungry vs output, but it was free to me)
Eclipse CD-7000 deck
Half-decent set of 4xRCAs (monster) running down the driver's side and under the rear seats into the trunk to the amps
4GA from the battery via a Stinger 150A breaker, 4GA grounds straight to the chassis ground point for the battery
SO WTF IS UP WITH MY CAR :(
