In all your spare time of running a growing business, family life, social engagements, and responding to many repeat posts that ask the same question 5 ways... you should write a "FAQ" of E30 audio.

Nothing that gives away your trade secrets ;) just something that will be an easy reference for the simple Q's like "How should I orrient the box" "Should it be ported into the cabin" etc.

I only mention this as I am one of those who has bothered you with questions.

Luke Ran a couple wires, deleted the amp, and installed 2 crossovers in my car. The thing sounds freakin amazing, even with 20 year old speakers...

Back from the dead. It would be a real asset to know what location / orientation would make the sound, and even if some mods to the rear seatpan sheet metal would help (ski pouch delete, custom cutting, etc.) - I am still in the "someday" stages of my speakerbox, but it would be nice to know what works best before I go getting custom on anything.

What do you think is generally best, Luke? Is there a constant to location for the woofer, or do various designs of woofers sound better in differing locations in the trunk?
