    here's my situation please help

I know I have a working original HOFCO alarm in my e30 but no transmitter. I’ve called HOFCO but have had no luck. They took my CC# and said they have sent out replacement remotes twice. I doubt that they did since they did not charge my CC and its been 2 months.

Any options for replicating the transmitter signal without the original remote. I can tell there is a code on the brain that is what I used to try and order a replacement from them but they are just not sending me out anything. Other than that I may use the existing wiring and wire up a new alarm. How hard is it to do since there is one in there already? Anyone have a wiring diagram from HOFCO? Anyone with a HoFco remote they can program for me if I give you whats on the brain?

My big seller on R3V is a Galaxy 5000 from Scytek Remote start, keyless, 1 AUX output, nearly 1/4 mile range, excellent basic system.

I use Scytek because they actually manufacture their own alarms, unlike most other companies.

Unbelieveably cheap, in stock, available for damn near immediate shipping, same as I use in all of my cars.

You will require 2 relays, but I recommend doing domelight surveillance and horn honk, so 2 more relays for that.

Should take about 4 to5 hours to install...not all that tough. I can provide tech support to whatever degreee you might need.

PM me for a price. Visa/MC only, over the phone.

    Luke

Car Alarms - What is on the market

What is worth looking at on the market?

I don't care about remote start
I don't care about trunk popping
    I don't care about window roll-up/down

    I DO care about:
    -Keyless entry
    -Battery Back-up
    -Audible alarm
    -Light flash
-Choice between auto-lock and manually activating alarm

I do not need a pager
I do not want a large fob hanging off the key
Proximity sensors are not of great concern...

    Thanks,
    Chris
