    Rear brake light problem?

Hey guys, like the topic says I got a brake light problem.

When I press on the brakes, the brake lights do not come on (The one on the bottom left and right, middle one works).

Doesnt look like there is a short, bulbs dont look burnt,

But when I took the bulbs out, the bottom metal part was dirty all around with some kind of whitish stuff. Do you guys think that is the problem?

Any ideas of what it could be.

20 years of use makes for a bit of corrosion, basically.

Clean the panel the bulb mounts in with a pencil eraser. Buy new bulbs. Use a little bit of Vaseline on the base of the bulb. This will prevent corrosion, and help deal with vibration better for longer bulb life.

Make sure the connector that plugs that panel in is clean too.

Thx sterio installer for the advice, it will be quite helpful. My tail lights are acually new from last year. They are modified from ebay and are probably pretty cheap.

And wtf do you mean brake lights in the frontÉ
