Me I like the green it doesn't catch my eye as much as the rash red does. But I have a Pioneer that glows amber or green or blue depending on your preferance. I wired mine into the dimer circuit to so when I dim the lights it dims also.
Oh I changed my rear defrost but from orange to green also. Yuck orangeish yellow color was to bright. Green in most E30's in Germany.
My Kenwood something-8000 (don't remember the exact model name) can glow both green and "amber" (red). It's switchable and I was pumped the day I figured that out (it was showing green when I bought the car with it in it). It also flips completely over, showing only a smooth grey back when the car is off.
