I got sound!

So I went ahead and installed a cheap pioneer deh-p3900mp cd/mp3 hu today and I am pretty damn impressed by this $139 hu that plays mp3s and has 3 sets of pre-outs , eq with Q adjustment, sub out crossover, high pass filter (50,63,80,100,125hz, supports mp3s encoded from 8kbps to 320kbps, also plays wav/wma and aac.

What sucks is that I must have either pulled a wire as now my speedo/odo does not work at all, all other gauges work. Before I put the cd player in everything worked, damn.

Fixed, fuse 12 was blown. With fuse 12 blown ALL instruments work Other than Speedo/Odo.

Interesting. I fixed up the rats nest of twisted wires and electrical tape that used to be my stereo install, and now my speedo doesn't work. I'll have to definitely check out fuse 12!

My antenna is messed up, so only a country music station comes in with any signal clarity. But, it still sounds good! :mrgreen:

I meant to say, the country music sounds good in terms of sound quality. Not that I regularly listen to country music. Yet somehow re-reading my post, it seems I've implied that country music sounds good. Dammit!
