    Custom subwoofer Questions!

Well,I have an old,but in perfect shape, sub coming from a home audio
Pioneer speaker and my SOny headunit has a free subwoofer exit on the back.
Can I built a light box and mount in the trunk without using an extra amplifier?
Any tips/experience on the subject of building my own setup?
    N.

no, you'll need to buy a one or two channel amp and run the rca cable and remote turn on from the sony unit to your new amp.

Plus, the woofer you have is likely 8 ohm. If so, you will only get half the power you should from a 2 channel amp, bridged.
