    cassette stuck in factory radio

    my battery died yesterday and i had my cassette adapter in it still.

    i turned my car back on and it said code so i tried to put the code in put what i thought the code was and three tries later i actually got what i know for sure is the code and it wont work.
    any suggestions?

      Call up BMW and give the serial number on the back of the radio, i bet that you have the wrong code

        nope code works its worked before but now i guess because i entered the wrong code too many times it wont accept any codes even the real one

            Leave the radio on for an hour and then re-enter the code. I leave my key in the ignition and hope my car isn't stolen, but seeing where you are from I suggest just getting stuck in traffic for an hour.

            There is a slot on the top of the radio to mechanically release the tape, but you have to remove the radio to get to it. And it's usually easier to remove the whole top plate to see how the release mechanism works.
