my subs keep going in and out.

could you be a little more vague please?

how long are they out for? Does the protect light turn on on the amp? Does it happen at only loud volume?

they work for 15 minutes. then stop all day. im running 2 amps. 250 watts for the front. then 800 watts for the subs.

the protect light does come on. and sorry for being vague but i dont know anything about stereos.

i've tried different circuits for the subs too. i have it bridged and running a parallel right now.

Fixed the problem.

Get yourself a multi meter (<$20) and check the impedance (ohms) at the subwoofer leads. What does it show?

his gain was up to high or had his subs wired up wrong and it was over heating the amps
