    DLS or MB Quart

Anyone have any experience with either? Im looking at getting a good front component set for the cab.

A good friend of mine recently put a set of MB Quart 6.5 components in his car, they are way to bright for my tastes, I have no experience with DLS's.

Focal tweeters need a lot of tuning to address the "brightness". But worth it if you can get it done.

Which DLS model are you looking at? Most (except for the Nobellium) tend to sound warm.

I personally have never had the DLS but have had many MB QUART's and have to say they are amazing but if you want an amazing sound with the Quarts go with the Q series I believe is the high end series they make. Well worth the money!!!!!!

I just put in the Q series separates in my car and love them. Yes the highs are harsh but if you have them on a separate channel you can tune them to sound warm. Are they worth the money? I do not know but they sound amazing!

MS5A are good speakers. Kinda laid-back to me. In the end, it'll boil down to tuning. Make sure you get a good HU. ;)
