    Subwoofer in spare tire well.

Here are some shots of the before and after of my trunk. It is not quite finished but you get the idea.

Nice , did you do the work yourself ?

To some that may seem practical but to me I could never live with losing the functionality of the spare .

Even in my days of going through 4 12's , 2 15's and even 2 18's I always keep my spare handy .

                  I finally settled on a single free-air 10" .
Plenty of low end to complete the sound I get to keep ALL of my trunk space .
Amp is mounted inside of my spare .

Thanks. A friend of mine did it for me. I don't think I have ever owned a spare tire in my life....LOL

Teaguer, I'm doing something very similar myself at the moment. The difference being that I've been building mine up while getting paid at work :).

Pictures next week (when I have time to get it in the car)!

Hmm, I gotta see if two 8s would fit like that. Shit, too bad I bought a 12" , still sitting in a box.
