does anyone have any information on the part number for the harness adapter to plug in a BMW CD43 cd player into a late model E30?

I did this retrofit 6 months ago. There are no adapters. Also the antenna won't go down when you play a cd.

Both antenna adapter and wiring harness are available aftermarket.

Metra, Scosche and Best all have them.

There is no aftermarket harness for the E30. You can certainly cut the wires off and splice them onto the E30 harness.

What is the difference between the 2-channel and 4-channel? Besides that it's 2 more channels..how do I know which one I will need?

Your '91 should be 4 channel.

                Dash fader = 2 channel

                No fader = 4 channel

Would I only need these two adapters, one for the car and one for the stereo?

When and how much are you able to get the wiring adapter for? Do you have it in stock?
