Alpine 7893 - Radio is Fine - CD = No Sound?!?!

I just wired up my Alpine 7893 and the radio works great but when I play a CD it shows that it is playing but I get no sound.

Any car audio buffs ran into this problem before? I wired it up the way the old CD player was wired in with one solid grey wire going to the solid blue wire and a solid white wire going to the solid yellow wire both on the OEM harness.

Please tell me it's a wiring issue.

Do you have amps? Sounds to me like you hooked up the remote turn on wire to the power antenna lead. Alpines have a lead for power antenna and remote turn on. Make sure you're hooked up to the correct wire, I believe its the blue/white.

Mine did that because the antenna turned the amp on and the antenna was only raising when the head unit was set to radio. Set it to remote turn on or ignition for your antenna.
