    6.5s in Custom Kick Panels

I bought these custom fiberglass kicks about 3 years ago from the classifieds on this site. Finally got around to utilizing them These were wrapped with black vinyl and house 6.5 CDT CarbonFiber speakers.

Nice. Do you not find them too intrusive?
I just installed some new 6.5 inches in my kick panels today too (carbon weave quintessentially enough). Front mounted them like yours, just without the angle. I bet you have more problems opening the glove box than me haha.

I'll snap a couple tomorrow. Not a fancy install, but I worked on the speakers quite a bit.

Nice. I was also attempting that, but I had issues with the Glove box as netcsk mentioned. I would have had to hack it so it would clear. I would up mounting them in the doors with a 3 way system instead.

            ...

I'm 6'0" and don't really have any complaints regarding leg room, however I run an auto tranmission so I don't have to deal with a clutch either. The glovebox retains its full range of motion as with the hood release. I was going for a nice soundstage so I don't mind giving up a little space to have them mounted at that angle.

Here's mine. I had to space the hood release and the glove box doesn't open all the way (but enough to get in it). Sounds much betta.
