in the process of installing an alarm..... help needed

In the process of installing an Viper alarm to my 90 325i. I need instruction how do you tap to the parking circuit.

I know the wires are at the headlight switch. I can reach the wires. Such a tight space. I tried to remove the switch. Wish that I will have more room to tap the wires but without sucess. I could not remove the switch,
    1) any tips on how to remove the headlight switch.
    2) any other location that I can tap to the circuit.

    thanks in advance

alternate location is the main block

its located within the knee bolster-you'll need to remove the knee bolster cover. look against the firewall above the pedals to the very left corner where all the wires are feeding into.

the wires are the same color as the headlight switch i believe they are grey yellow and grey white but this is from memory. also depending on how the alarm you are installing works you may need a relay.

On a side note, to remove the headlight switch, on the back side of it there are 2 thumb nuts. Unscrew these and the whole headlight/fog light panel will come out.
