    Help with cluster troubles...

I recently replaced my cluster for cosmetic reasons now when I start the car none of the gauges work except for my tach, which works for about 5 seconds.

I have checked the SI board batteries, each shows 3.07v, swapped SI board with my old "known working" one, I have checked all the fuses in the box and all are good. The last thing I'm thinking of trying is to re-trace all the main board circuits. Before I do that does anyone have a suggestion or know what the problem is?

Like always check your fuses, did you swap white backed to white backed or blue to blue?

What year of E30 did the cluster come out of?

Check the main board too. I had one that quit working. I thought it was the SI board but turned out that the main board was bad. Maybe swap it with the functioning one you pulled out.

My replacement cluster is the same as the original cluster both from a 1991 318is.

Anyways, I got the cluster mostly working. Turns out I missed the burned out fuse. Those factory 7.5A fuses have a tiny filament! The issue I am having now is no gauge illumination lights and no turn signals. Any ideas?
