More Heat/bigger hammer? Stock tweet removal.

I have applied a heat gun, exacto knife, and a screwdriver to removal the stock tweets from the sail panel, and I have failed. Before I use a bigger hammer, does the tweet come out the front of the panel or the back?

    The back.
It was easy on mine. I took a screw driver and pryed it out.

            That's what she said.

Can you post a picture of what you are doing, it doesn't seem to be a very stubborn device.

I hit mine with the hammer on the grill a few times and I got the whole thing to pop out.
Left a nice clean hole to put my MB quarts right in.

I pried it out with a screwdriver and cracked one of the two panels, and there is still a bunch of stuff I need to dremel out to make a hole big enough for a 1" tweet. Its probable my panels were just very brittle. It seems everything on my iX is brittle as it is now stuck on a lift that shop because various parts were to rotted to be reassembled.

I cut them out with a dremel... but I was trying really hard not to break anything.
