Window Clicks. Help!!

My drivers side does it when i put it down and my passengers side when i put it up. Its a noise like it wants to keep going. What is this?

It's the gear in the window motor against the cable/whatever that moves the window.

My passenger side does this also, going up or down. It sucks because the window won't go up far enough to make a good seal, so I get a lot of wind noise while driving.

Is there a fix? Rip open the door panel and move this cable/whatever that's in the way? To me it sounds like the gears are worn or something. I have it on both windows going up or down. Very unsettling. :P

mine only does it when they are all the way up...but they totally work all the way up and down and make a full seal, just make that god awful noise when they reach the top...its like a audible notification to "LET GO OF THE DAMN BUTTON!" LOL ...

My antenna also did the same thing, but fully functioned...i recently replaced the antenna mast/motor with one out of my buddies car and now it works flawlessly :-D

as for the windows, havent done anything yet...its not hurting anything, just annoying

If I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure thats the window motors telling you they're about to go out and they need to be replaced.
