    OBC Temp

My OBC is working perfectly fine save for one minor thing:

When "Temp" is selected, I get this:
    - 22˚F

The "˚F" is blinking, however. I do believe that the thermometer that picks up the temperature is not functioning correctly, is broken, or something. Or, the problem could be in the computer. I doubt this, since I tried 2 different OBC's in the process of attempting to determine what it could possibly be. Sucks cuz I just want my E30 to tell me the temperature outside. yeah...

    help me out, you masterminds

The sensor is located in the front valence in a little hole on I believe the driver side. Check to see if the wiring is torn.

The sensor is in the brake cooling duct in the front valence on the driver side(left) next to either the fog light or fog light delete(which ever you have). Look in it and it will be on the top side of it sticking down some. To access it you will have to jack the wheel up and remove the front side of the inner fender liner(plastic lining). Check the wiring there but more than likely is a bad sensor. At least it was in a totally different type of car I had that had the same type of problem. Anyone want to add to this

Yep, yep it's cool....in fact I just removed my front valence a week ago and I saw all of it there; the sensor, the wire (I unplugged it), etc. I even thought that it might have been the thermometer for the OBC, but completely forgot about it.

        thanks for reminding me.!
