deck and clock

another quirk w/ the car. I bought a new clock, and it keeps resetting every time i turn the car off, same goes w/ the deck....it keeps wanting the code. is there a fuse or something, or did I piss something off when changing the clocks.....is it a ground wire or something?? I checked the clock in my buddies e30 and it works flawlessly...so i know its not that..

It sounds like you mixed up Constant 12V+ and Switched/Accessory 12V+, or you just skipped the constant wire altogether. If you're running an aftermarket radio, yellow is Constant, not red.

stock deck.....and clock. Only things I've done between when it worked and didn't is a new cluster and clock/obc.
