How can I tell if I have premium sound?

"Premium Sound" was an option on all lower models, but came standard on 325is, 325es, 325iX. Upgraded front and rear speakers, amplifier.

Basically, if it has "sail panel" tweeters and the rear speakers are mounted in box/panels, it is premium.

I am pretty certain that all 6 banger 'verts were premium sound, but not absolutely sure

Stereo Installer, what do you think of the premium speakers if hooked up to an aftermarket amp? How do they compare to other 5.25 components? The owner of the car I have now had them replaced with diamond d3s, and some crap audiobahn speakers in the back. I was wondering if that was really much of an upgrade, or if I should put the premiums back in and sell the rest?

i like the way mine sound but i'm currious how they would sound with a better x over. maybe an mb quatz q. Normally i would go louder but i'm getting old.
