    c43, aux adapter?

ive searched all over the forum and i cant seem to get a straight answer on this. Question one what type of cd changer interface does a c43 have? ( like ainet, m bus, i bus )
and is there an aux adapter that i can just plug into it where the cd changer plug goes. the only one that ive been able to find, use the 2 stock plugs that go into the trunk. But i cant seem to find one that doesnt need this plug.

Just got the Grom Audio aux adapter off eBay that works with the C43 - but it does use the CD Changer wires I ran into the trunk. The kit also had instructions online about splicing wires behind the radio - didn't pay much attention since that wasn't the way I was going - but you should look into it.

thanks, just finished hacking up my radio trim, to get the c43 to mount flush. i wonder if this mod will be an upgrade or downgrade?
i had a pioneer HU, with aux adapter, sub control. worked like a charm but stood out like a thorn. so just to get the c43 to work the same i had to get: c43, equalizer, another aux adaptr, not to mention tking whole center console out.

But when you are done it will look like factory installed!

Are there any adapters that use AUX input in the back of the BMW C33/C43/CD43 to RCA cables to eliminate the I-bus data cable? (the one that goes to the trunk)
