Does anyone know if the dash harness from a 87i to a 88e car is different. Wanted to upgrade the obc in the 88 cause I have a 87i parts car that is going to be tossed here soon. Unless there is a easier way of installing hte 13button to the 88. I hope I didn't miss a post talking about this...

You are talking about the simple yellow terminal, one wire loom that goes from the back of the cluster to the back of the OBC, right? If so, then yes, it will work fine. -
So you are saying the original cable will work or do I need the cable from the 87? Thanks for the help!
