Ricer Turn Signal Syndrome

I go to a community college, and there's a lot of ricers there. It seems like most of them have this disease that makes their turn signals blink really quickly.

My e30's caught it! It's only the left turn signal but I'm afraid I might wake up tomorrow with altezza tail lights and underglow.

Please help!

Seriously, the left blinks and clicks way faster than the right, sometimes in the middle of going fast, it slows back down.

But if I do the hazard blinkers it blinks just fine.

It only blinks faster if I signal left. At first I brushed it off as my car wanting me to take left turns faster. (joking)

Check to see if one of the bulbs are blown?

your ricers probably do it cause they have an LED in there

If its a blown bulb, is it normal for it to go back to normal from time to time?

Yes - the filament will break and a bump will re-connect it. Wait till it's not working - put on your hazards and walk around the car.

PS - Don't forget to add blinker fluid while you are in there. You'd hate to do the job twice.
