hazard switch is blowing my turn signal fuse

I bought a new hazard switch and it blows the turn signal fuse so it looks like the circuit that connects the to the fuse 4 has a short some where?

if I take the hazard switch out it won't blow.

I thought w/out the hazard switch plugged in then the turn signals wouldn't work?

they won't work without hte hazard switch but with it the fuse will blow
