6 x 9s... enough bass

I have an e36 now, and I am looking to get the BSW Stage 1 kit. I am trying to avoid a sub in the trunk, do you guys think the 6x9s the Stage one kit uses will have enough bass?

I am listening to lots of classical right now, but I also listen to Garbage, 30 seconds to mars, everlast, even country. Never very loud, though.

Dude...those guys are masters of hyperbole. Do you really think they have some massive magic that makes their speakers sound any better than others? Your stock E36 setup can be made to sound fantastic...as long as you are willing to do a sub...even if it is a pair of 6X9s.

Their kit does not promise to work magic. They even sell a sub system.

All the speakers need to be replaced any way... I just want to know if I should continue with my FG enclosure... I want full use of the fold down seats and the trunk.

Luke, do you have any experience with the low profile subs? Another option is a down firing system (BSW uses this) but with a (or two) low profile sub.
