I installed a sub and amp today which replaced another setup so i used my same power wires and just connected to the amp, no big deal. Well soon after my battery is dead, i thought it was maybe because i was listening to music for a little with the car off, so i just pop the clutch. I drove for probably another 20 minutes and then the car still wouldn't start. I was also getting check engine light, and twice everything just cut out while the car was running, lights, radio.
The only thing i can think of is that there was a slight drizzle when i was hooking it up and my trunk was open, it may have got the battery wet?
I had no problems like this with my other amp hooked up.
