    Trying for new sound.......

    so i have this pioneer head unit that i want to put in my 325. i bought the car and it came with an old, i think, 1993 sony stereo. its using some kind of adapter to the old factory harness for the stereo to be able to work. so my question is, do i have to rewire the whole car to make the pioneer head unit to work? or?

    It would be best to just re-wire it that way you wont have to go back in there and figure out that harness if theres a problem.

      I would agree. Run new wire to the speakers from the deck and call it a day. Eliminate the stock fader on the dash if you have one as the HU should have this option built in. I believe it takes ~50 ft. of wire to redo it all.

        how would i be able to run new wires to the speakers and make the new stereo work?
