window motor question

is there a different window motor for pre 88 cars and post 88 cars? theres one on ebay that says that it will not fit cars built after 1988, but i thought they were all the same.

I'm pretty sure the actual motor can be interchanged but the regulators are way different .

ok cool, thanks. ya i dont need the regulater, just the motor. so i guess ill get it. thanks man

RealOEM says the part numbers are different, so I would assume they are different.
