Yeah, I know. With my old set-up I had about 40 watts of headroom on my front stage but I had all my gains set so the signal wouldn't start clipping.

well it wasnt the best sub ever made Alpine E
it was WAAAYYYY overpowered but i dont care im gonna drop 130ish on a RF punch HE2 (i think thats right) 500 rms 1000 peak

underoiwering is bad too.... the coil cools down and the speaker moves throught is travel.... if it is underpowered the sub could over heat and..... stop working

Although I think that does apply to an Orion H2 but that is the only sub. They have a wierd cooling system.
