    BMW Business in e46

Sooner or later I will drop the $150 for the hard wired iPod setup in the e46. Until then is there a way to wire in an aux input that I can plug into my iPod through the headphone jack?

I never found an option for my e46. I just replaced the OEM radio and gutted all the audio. I don't recall ever seeing a DIY hardwired solution on e46fanatics either.

Derek, you can get them, however the cost outweighs just getting the damn ipod adapter.

Just found an option for $35-40. Much better than $150. Plug and play with the CD changer plug.

Make sure it emulates the changer properly, I've seen a few that don't work that well (that I looked at before the BMW factory adapter)
