Anyone know which speakers fit in rear of E30 vert?

Using stock HU and amp. Would like to install coaxials in the rear but haven't heard of any that fit. Do any of you know of a specific brand and model that will without modifying the rear panel? I've searched but have not found.

u should look for 5 1/4 inch speakers, those are the only ones that fit in the kick panels and the rear shelves without modification. i have rockfords in the kick panels up front, and kenwoods on my rear shelves. I can't remember exactly which one's i used, but i'll try and get them for u.

Make sure you get something with a tweeter that sits low in the speaker, if you dont the grill will not fit. Also you need something that is shallow. I would say bring your old factory speaker into a car audio shop and tell them it need to match perfectly to that speaker.

I was looking at some low-end Kenwoods because they are 1 3/4 deep, but wasn't sure how high the tweeter sat. That's a good idea about bringing in the stock ones to an audio store. Thanks.

My cabrio came with infinity kappa speakers, the grills never fit with them on there so I broke the tweeters off and use them as just woofers.

i have some old infinity refrences and the tweeters bend out the grills and used to buzz some but whatever no big deal, your rears are gonna need smallish magnets to fit
