    Nakamichi rd 460

Anyone have one? I have a brand new one in the box, it says its capable of controlling a cd player, does that also mean I can hook up a ipod to it?

Its the one on the bottom, if someone can assist Id appreciate it(huhmm paging Luke). I have the manual and all the paperwork I can look up specifics on it if it helps to answer the question.

You can hook an ipod up through a tape adapter!

With my Nakamichi CD 400 there is a three pin small plug that goes in the back and then to a set of RCA'a to control IPOD or changer.

        CD changer adapter

Sharky is right..you can connect the 3/4/5/6pin in the back to a cable that you can actually plug right into the ipod itsef, doesn't even have to be the rca's.
I did it on my alpine and it works like a charm. search for a 3/4/5/6/pin to 3.5mm cable (or 2.5mm,whatever you have) and your done. Run it to a place where you can hid it or get creative. I ran mine right under/throught the console to the front ash tray and drilled a little hole so alli have to do is open the as tray and hook up. (i actually use windows mobile on my cell and it works perfect so ipod should be cool)
