removing the tweeters from the sail panels

what is the best way to remove the stock tweeters (other than carefully) from their panels in the doors with out breaking them?

i am upgrading all the speakers and want to upgrade the tweeters and reuse the stock housings.

They are just hot glued in. Carefully cut around them (from the back side) and pry them out. The grills can't be removed without cutting them off.

cool! i wasn't sure if they were epoxied in or what it was holding them in. i have some lanzar components i am putting in their place. (they were free from a part out) keeping the grills so they still look stock.

I'd use hot glue to put yours back in, as its a good strong way to do it but also allows you to remove them in the future if needed. Also, remove the cloth piece that goes in front of the tweeter as it very detrimental to performance.
