    Cabrio Mid's & High Setup

I have a set of MA Audio Components up front with seperate crossovers, a set of MA Audio 3 way speakers in the rear, an Alpine 9811 Headunit (50W x 4) with 4 preouts, and a MA Audio M489i 800w peak 4 channel amp.

I am trying to figure out the best way to set it up. I have no plans upon adding subs to the car. I'm not sure where I should mount the amp in the trunk, seeing as there is limited space. I'm definately keeping the spare.

I can get the following settings with the AMP:

    100W RMS per channel @ 4ohms
    150W RMS per channel @ 2ohms
    200W RMS mono @ 4ohms

I know the mono can be ruled out, but what would give the best sounding setup and clarity of the other two above?

Also, what the hell is the 'high input' for on the amp?

Anyone with a cool set up in a cabrio, or anything else for that matter, please post images. Remember, I'm NOT getting rid of my spare.

    Thanks in advance!

I would hook each speaker to a seperate channel on the amp and turn the rear speakers down some on the headunit. I would just bolt the amp to the back seat wall in the trunk.
It will be better to run each channel at 4 ohms because higher ohms create less distortion.
High input is for people that don't have RCA outputs and just want to run speaker level inputs off a stock headunit.

Thanks man! I appreciate it. Does anyone have any cool setups with amps screwed in to the back of the back seat?

Tru amps are awesome. Have you had a lot of trouble with reliability from it?
