    The constant evolution (56k)

Well im not new to r3v but ive never really gotten around to posting on the audio side of things, ive always been pretty big into the audio scene especially the SPL side of things... so just a little run down of previous set ups leading to the current build
1st setup, 2 PG octane ZR 12 D4's running of a 1500.1 PG amp with an alpine 9856 deck and some type s speakers running of the deck

that setup was decent i was in grade 11 when i had that so i was MUCH louder than anyone else so that was always a bragging point. but it was far too punchy and well just wasnt the greatest
SO i needed to go a little bigger, so i went really big
i bough a brand new Digital design 9515 powered by an orion 2500D, it was loud... very loud... 2500 watts RMS with a nutoriously loud sub... I THINK SO

then i needed a new deck so i bought on of these... nice deck considering i paid 250 for it, im positive it was some ones 5 finger discount but hey

then i needed a speaker amp so i thought i should match the orion so i bought an orion 8004 its 100 watts rms to all 4 channels at 4 ohms

    oh the wires

BUT alas, the sub/amp weighed FAR to much so it had to go... it has made room for this

it will be powered by and orion 1200D to match the 4 channel again, just a little less power, and will be build with a blow through design to the cab...
hope you all like ill post more once the build is done

hmm, i was always taught not to bolt amps to subwoofer boxes. how much does all that weigh?

This is what I don't like about audio, red wires and chrome and all sorts of things that look horrible, you can always hide it but still... Is it just me or does anyone else notice how aftermarket decks never, and I mean never match a car interior, that's the thing I don't like about them. I have been looking for the longest time for a deck that doesn't look ridiculous in my dash but still has all the modern functions. Sorry to rip but I don't know much on audio, its just the things that bother me about it.
