    E30 M3 harness vs. E30 325 harness?

    Hi!
Anyone knows the differences between an E30 M3 wiring harness, vs. an E30 325 harness?
The harness in my E30 M3 is a piece of shit. Previously owner have installed an alarm all by himself and a lot of other homemade solutions.
And since there ain't so easy to get my hands on a M3 harness I was wondering if I could use a 325 harness instead, taken from a 325 with ABS and sunroof.

All the wiring to the instruments, electrical mirrors, electrical windows etc. is separate harness, right?
And the engine is a S50B30 Euro, so I need to modify the engine harness as well, so don't think about that. ;)

You should be able to make it work, it is very similar. I would opt for a harness out of an 87 325is though.

Thanks for the answer, I will try the 325 harness.
But why an 87 325i? Differences from earlier or later models?

Early e30 325s had two fuel pumps (low and high pressure), just as the e30 M3. Late e30s have only one pump. Late e30s had an airbag.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.
