I think thats out of e34, 5 series. I've seen one at the yard couple month back.

The picture is from a 93 e30 vert. Perhaps it was in multiple models.

from the picture it doesnt look like it was originally on the car. Since you can see that the unit protrudes out the plate like other bmw oem units, and need to modify the mounting to make flush. Just my perspective.

I've seen the "Bavaria II" & "Bavaria III' look similiar to this one in question, mabe it's a series "IV" ?
